Breaking News

About this site

This site is one that translates various daily news articles in terms of their economics content, and deciphers it for the lay person in laymen’s terms.  It’s intent is to reveal to the masses, or the Proletariat, as Marxists and Socialists would call them, what the stories really say in terms of how the particular news in question will affect their lives.  Quite contrary to it’s name, the site promotes free markets, and intends to show how capitalism is the only system that can protect individuals and improve their standard of living.

The word proletariat was chosen to represent the masses in a different way than Marxists do.  In their world, the proletariat is the “rest of society” outside of the elite ruling class - the capitalists and land owners - who supposedly gain at the expense of the “working class”.  In the real world, the only ruling entity which holds power over any other party is the government elite.  This is because they have a monopoly on the legal system, on money, on enforcement of whatever they deem to be laws, and on the formation of so-called economic policy.  Each and every way they choose to intervene in and manipulate the otherwise free markets has an effect on every individual - the real proletariat.

The puropose of this site is to explain to those outside of government (and even to those in it), what the effects are of the government ruling class on the lives of the average individual, and to show that the capitalists and entrepreneurs are the only ones that can help individuals, and that the government can only harm them.
